Acceptance of Terms

AskEllyn.ai is an online information service powered by OpenAI which is a technology owned by Open AI LLC or its affiliates (“OpenAI”) (collectively with AskEllyn.ai, referred to as “we” and “us”). AskEllyn.ai operated by The Lyndall Project and is designed to be a web site for a thriving community concerned about breast cancer, and a comfortable place for visitors to find information, emotional support and share experiences. Your use of the AskEllyn.ai web site and any other resources or materials is conditioned upon your continued acceptance of and compliance with our Terms of Use. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with these important Terms. AskEllyn.ai may change these Terms of Use at any time. The changes will appear in these Terms of Use, and your use of the Site after any changes have been posted will constitute your agreement to the modified Terms of Use. Therefore, you should read these Terms of Use each time you access AskEllyn.ai, before you begin using it.

AskEllyn.ai Does Not Provide Medical Advice

AskEllyn.ai is designed for engagement and informational purposes only, as a resource to individuals affected by breast cancer. AskEllyn.ai includes facts, views, opinions and recommendations deemed of interest to the community concerned about breast cancer. You acknowledge and agree that these views, opinions and recommendations are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. You should always seek the assistance of a medical or other healthcare professional for medical and other health matters. AskEllyn.ai does not medically review any information or content contained on, or distributed through AskEllyn.ai, and therefore does not endorse the accuracy or reliability of any such information or content. AskEllyn.ai does not and is not intended to create any provider-patient relationship and is not a substitute for professional counseling or medical advice. Proprietary Rights and Limitations on Use

AskEllyn.ai contains proprietary material which may include but shall not be limited to text, graphics, images, photos, audio, video, data, sound and software (“Content”). All Content is the property of AskEllyn.ai, its licensors or others, and is protected by Canadian and international copyright and other intellectual property laws and treaties. AskEllyn.ai and the Content may be used by you only for your personal and non-commercial use. Except as provided below, you agree not to copy, reproduce, modify, display, perform, publish, create derivative works from, or store any Content from AskEllyn.ai.

Collection of Data

You may provide input to AskEllyn.ai (“Input”), and receive output generated and returned by AskEllyn.ai based on the Input (“Output”). Input and Output, as defined above are included in “Content” as defined above. AskEllyn.ai does not keep or maintain any directly-provided input. However, AskEllyn reserves the right to anonymize and present alternate versions of input, and to make use of generated output, in both cases which would include no personally identifiable information of users, in its product development and other business activities. However, any information sent or received over the Internet is generally not secure. Registration

Some services and resources at AskEllyn.ai may be made available only to those who register. Registrants must be eighteen (18) years of age or older. You agree that any registration information you provide is accurate, complete and current, and you further agree to promptly update that information to keep it accurate, complete and current. Once you have registered, you will receive a user id and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your user id and password, and are responsible for all activities that occur using your user id and password, whether or not expressly authorized by you. We will not be responsible for any damages resulting from the unauthorized use of your user id or password. You agree to notify us immediately of any such unauthorized use or any other breach of security.

Use of OpenAI

AskEllyn.ai is powered by OpenAI. Due to the nature of machine learning OpenAI may make improvements or other changes to its Platforms from time to time in its sole discretion, with or without notice to AskEllyn.ai. AskEllyn.ai as such is bound by the terms of use set out by OpenAI, which may be subject to change. Due to the nature of the OpenAI technology and machine learning, responses to any given Input by the user may not be consistent, and Output based on the same Input may vary.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

AskEllyn.ai does not endorse, and specifically disclaims any responsibility or liability for any opinion, statement, information or material displayed or distributed through AskEllyn.ai, whether a topic is first selected by AskEllyn.ai or a user. You acknowledge that by using AskEllyn.ai you may be exposed to information that is inaccurate or unreliable or material you find objectionable, and in this respect your use of AskEllyn.ai and your reliance upon any such information or material is at your own risk.
