AskEllyn’s Support Goes Global with the City Cancer Challenge

Part of a solution to deliver equitable quality cancer care to women impacted by breast cancer around the world

I am thrilled and honored to share that AskEllyn has been selected for inclusion in The City Cancer Challenge’s new digital patient navigation library.

Navigating cancer care often involves multiple facilities and providers, creating significant patient barriers. These challenges are particularly acute in low to middle-income countries, where fragmented healthcare systems lack adequate support for patient journeys.

The City Cancer Challenge leads a city-based partnership initiative that supports cities worldwide as they work to improve access to quality, equitable cancer care. By transforming how stakeholders from the public and private sectors collectively design, plan and implement cancer solutions, The City Cancer Challenge supports cities as they work to improve access to quality cancer care, by providing expertise, financial and/or in-kind support. Partners include the American Society for Clinical Oncology, The Clinton Health Access Initiative, eCancer, The World Bank, the World Health Organization, Astra Zeneca, Siemens Healthineers, Roche, the Mayo Clinic and Princess Margaret Hospital among many more.

The City Cancer Challenge’s (C/Can) Digital Health Library features solutions tailored to ease patient navigation, ensure timely access to care, and improve outcomes in resource-limited settings. AskEllyn is one of eleven solutions carefully vetted for inclusion by a global panel of digital health experts. The library will be used to support women diagnosed with breast cancer in 15 cities worldwide across five continents.
